"What this site is about, and what it is not..."
This site is about expression. It is about living without masks. It is about transparency. Admittedly, I am a poor candidate to discuss the field, so expect some fumbling. This is also a site about faith in the worst of places, and about how hard it is sometimes to find that faith.
This is not a site about the Death Penalty. You are either for it, or against it, and I am well aware that my skill with the written word is far too anemic to change anyones mind. Obviously, the subject is going to come up, as it is sort of hard to avoid when you live on Death Row. If I bitch and complain it's simply my very human reaction to this place, not that an intellectual debate on the merits of capital punishment. Think of this as simply a looking glass to a different world. I will try not to leave too much of my emotional crap on the lenses, though i am a human being, and some of those smudges are integral to the lens. I guess, in the end, this site is about that too.
You can take away our names and replace them with numbers, cage and store us in conditions not even fit for your family dog, and exterminate us at your whim, but we are still human beings, capable of everything from love and beauty to violence and hate.
